About Us
The Libyan Center for Counterterrorism is a specialized government authority established to confront terrorist threats, contributing to the protection of national security and the promotion of stability.
The Center was established pursuant to Presidential Council Decision No. (109) of 2021. Its organizational structure was approved on March 1, 2022, by Cabinet Decision No. (201) of 2022. The Center works to coordinate efforts among various relevant entities through monitoring, analysis, and joint cooperation, in order to ensure the effectiveness of the national counterterrorism system in accordance with the legal frameworks and approved standards.
